SNOOGALS HAS TAKEN OVER!

Hey Admissions Team Members HEY!
The blog writer is busy today taking tickets at the turnstiles because it is B-U-S-Y times a million and they had left themselves logged on on here so I, Snoogals McGoogals, will be updating the blog this week. Our Spring break weeks have come to an end and we have had a lot of fun! Today I started my day out in the ESO with Admissions PTC Joanne & Foods PTC Karl. We assisted in clocking team members in and checking grooming guidelines.

I can assure you that these pictures were taken during downtime during out duties. Here are a few pictures taken around the Admissions Department over the spring break weeks:

Here is season pass busy with the hustle and bustle of guests.

Here we have a picture of Nick & Melissa in the Guest Relations window. They did a great job being guest ready.

FUN FACT OF THE WEEK: The KISS 95.7 Summer Kick Off Concert is taking place next Sunday May 3rd 2009 at SFNE! Artists performing include We The Kings, The Veronicas, Lady Gaga, Flo Rida, & Boys Like Girls. OH! How exciting? It's going to be an awesome show!

Another fun, yet random fact, is that today is the day that the Greeks entered Troy using the Trojan Horse! Feel free to use that fact and make yourself appear to be a histroy buff!

Well that is all for this week, I hope you enjoyed this week of the blog written by yours truly! Now that this is done I need to go back to starring at The Bizarro ride.....or maybe I should go help the gate out since they are very busy. Hope to see you all soon!

Busy Busy Busy

Hello Admissions! The first week of our Spring Break has come to an end and the second week is just beginning! All of our new team members are transitioning well into our department and all of our returners are doing a great job as mentors to help with some on the job training. We can already tell that with all of you wonderful team members this season is going to be awesome! We were able to snap a few pictures today and wanted to share them with you:

We also received an e-mail from Snoogals McGoogals on how his season is going. Once again it was translated from Lemur to English by our PTC Joanne:

Dear Admissions Team Members,
As I sit in the backroom of Guest Relations I can hear the hustle and bustle of the inside GR office and am thankful we have such great team members that I do not have to go out a grab a window. I am also thankful for the family that lost their ice cream coaster that I am now currently sitting in. I went on a park stroll with Joanne yesterday and it was lovely to get to see all you team members putting what you learned in training into motion. Well the point of this e-mail is to alert all you team members to the Season Pass Sky Coaster Challenge!! If you guys can sell 8,500 season passes by May 24th Joanne & Supervisor Mike will ride Taz's Dare Devil Drop! Joanne & Mike checked out the attraction today and even suited up for a promo picture for the challenge! There were minor panic attacks taking place but luckily safety was on scene!....just kidding! Although they were panicked they are very confident that they will win this challenge and not have to ride the attraction. So hopefully you guys can use your fabulous up-selling skills and win this challenge and we can watch them fly!

Seven Days!

Good Morning Admissions Team members! Today's weather looks to be rainy with a chance of a Thrilling Day! The Admissions team is busy getting those last minute finishing touches on the department. Sara has been making sure staff is in place and ready to go for opening weekend. Joanne is busy getting the Admissions General Certifications done and making sure team members are ready to go. Snoogals has been extremely busy squeegeeing out the turnstile house and mopping the outer gate. He will be working on the Tolls Plaza next week. As Snoogals mentioned last week we have a few new attractions coming to SFNE.

First off we have the return of The Joker's Wild Card. It is a circular ride that will spin riders through the air. We also have the addition of The Blitz to the park. This ride will launch guests 24 stories into the air. There is an additional up charge for The Blitz.

For those of you that have not heard The Superman Ride of Steel has finally been transformed to Bizarro! There have been so many cool effects added to the ride and it will be opening late-May. I know a few admissions team members who are very excited to go on this ride.

BREAKING NEWS: SFNE will now be open for two weeks for Spring Break! So the park will now be open straight from April 10-26! Wowzas!

Whilst getting lost on the image drive we found this picture of Admissions Lead Sarah, PTC Joanne, Supervisor Mike, and a Security Supervisor from Operations Leadership Training.

We thought we'd share this picture with you guys because it looks like are team members are in deep conversation.

We have another picture we wanted to share. Our former Full Time Supervisor Matt has been a little depressed over not being able to work with Snoogals anymore. Snoogals has also felt this depression but has been able to compose himself during the work day. Upon Snoogals's request we have included this precious picture of him & Matt from their trip to Reno during the Winter.
Hopefully Sara will take Snoogals on a more glamorous vacation next Winter. That is all for this week, check back next week when.......THE PARK WILL BE OPEN!
